Colin Andries graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2005 and passed the Oregon State Bar in the same year. He previously graduated from the University of Oregon Clark Honors College in 2002, with a BA in Business Administration. Andries was an active member of the Oregon Law Review, Moot Court Board, and was a TA for University President David Frohnmayer. Andries currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Oregon Law School Alumni Association and as a chairman of the Membership Committee for the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.
Andries prosecuted cases for the State of Oregon as a clerk with the Jackson County District Attorney's Office in Medford, Oregon in 2004. From 2005-2008 Andries worked for the esteemed law firm Foster Pepper specializing in corporate and real estate transactions. There Andries represented high net worth privately-held business entities at all stages of the corporate life cycle and advised clients in acquiring, selling and financing real property.
Out of the office, Andries enjoys his lifelong passion of playing soccer through coaching youth teams in Oregon and Southwestern Washington. A state certified coach, he helps coordinate the Rogue Valley Cup soccer tournament in his hometown of Medford, Oregon each year. Always up for a challenge, Colin also enjoys running the occasional half marathon and Hood to Coast Relay.
